2025 Peony Spring Festival 5K run/walk- May 17, 2025 at 9:00am
This is an annual 5K run/walk Fundraiser for the Gallatin County Extension Homemakers. All proceeds goes toward the Gallatin County Extension Homemaker Scholarship Fund awarded to a Gallatin County High School Senior.
Race will begin at the Warsaw City Riverfront Park at 9am. Registration is from 8:30-9am. Races may be cancelled due to inclement weather (thunder and lightning). If weather is questionable on race day, visit our Facebook page www.facebook.com/GallatinCES or call the Extension Office (859) 567-5481 to verify cancellation.
Registration:
$15.00—Pre-registration (postmarked form by May 2, 2025)
$20.00—Same Day Registration

Mail-in pre-registration forms must be postmarked at least 2 weeks prior to event date - May 2, 2025.

2025 Gallatin County Extension Homemaker Scholarships
2025 Mayme Walters Extension Homemaker Scholarship
Scholarship Application Requirements:
1. Limited to Gallatin County High School seniors in good standing to graduate.
2. Must continue their education after high school (Vocational-Technical program or a College).
3. To be considered you must provide answers to all sections. If extra space is needed to list your answers you may use additional paper. High school transcripts with grade point average, grade rank is optional but can be included.
4. Return application to the Guidance Counselor’s office no later than May 2, 2025.

2025 Cross County Homemakers Club Scholarship
Scholarship Application Requirements:
1. Limited to Gallatin County High School seniors in good standing to graduate.
2. Must continue their education after high school (Vocational-Technical program or a College).
3. To be considered you must provide answers to all sections. If extra space is needed to list your answers you may use additional paper. High school transcripts with grade point average, grade rank is optional but can be included.
4. Return application to the Guidance Counselor’s office no later than May 2, 2025.
Please submit a copy of this application to Beth Lynn at yolizzy320@gmail.com no later than Wednesday, May 2, 2025.
$500.00 to be paid directly to a Vocational-Technical program or a College of the recipient’s choice. In the event the person selected does not attend school, the scholarship is nullified.
