Hello All,

A lot is going on here at the Extension Office. If you were able to attend our Charcuterie Board Class, I certainly appreciate having you and I hope you had as much fun as I did. And that you learned something new. That is my goal with each new event or task I complete or person I encounter, is to learn at least one new thing.

There are other great classes coming up and if you are not registered, please call our office to do so. Food for Thought Class is on April 14th followed by the Morocco Class on April 17th. In May, both the Glass Art and CPR/AED Informational Class will be offered. Please see the flyers for each class enclosed in this newsletter. We hope to see you at each!

Hello All,

Welcome March! I hope you are as happy about the first sight of Spring as I am. Spring is definitely my favorite time of year. To me, it symbolizes newness, beginning, growth, creativity and the earth’s resiliency.

A lot has been happening at the Extension Office and with our Extension programming. It has been a pleasure seeing many of you at our classes, Embroidery, Wood Burning, Candle Making, Charcuterie, etc. We have more great classes coming up.

Hello All,

This month has always been a favorite because of Valentine’s Day.  It is the month for Love.  And as we all know, there are many ways to show Love toward one another.  Ways that express love toward others that come to my mind are: showing kindness, not judging, being respectful, a simple compliment, gentle words, a smile, lending a helping hand, etc.  This is what I see in the Gallatin County Extension Homemaker Organization each day.

The Gallatin County Extension Office, Family & Consumer Sciences, 4-H, and Agriculture is kicking off a “BE Kind”  campaign.  As part of this campaign, we are challenging our volunteers, leaders, and community to perform acts of  kindness.  Examples are:
